The military ceremony for leaving in the theatre of operations in Iraq of the military from the 341st Infantry Battalion Rechinii Albi from Topraisar will occur Tuesday, July 29, starting 09.30 a.m. in front of the Casino, in Constanta.
The guests in the event are the representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, the Army Staff, the 34th Infantry Brigade Vasile Lupu and the representatives of the local administration and the relatives of the military.
The military from Constanta will take over the mission to support the Iraqi governmental authorities in the process of reconstruction, from the military from the 151st Infantry Battalion Lupii negri from Iasi.

The 341st Infantry Battalion Rechinii Albi is part of the SEEBRIG initiative since 2000. Between 2004 and 2005 it was present with three detachments in RO FND (VIII-IX-X) in Kosovo and in 2006 participated in ENDURING FREEDOM mission in Afghanistan.
For the way the military fulfilled their mission in the theatre of operations in Afghanistan, the Combat Flag was decorated with Virtutea militara (Military Virtue in rank of Knight with signs of war).
Rechinii Albi took part in 2007 in Proof of Principle Romanian-US exercise and MILREX national exercise.
