Romanian Minister of Defence, Teodor Melescanu, and the Deputy Chief of Defence, Lieutenant General Mihail Orzeata, will participate in the military ceremony on the repatriation of the 300th Mechanised Infantry Battalion Sfantul Andrei, August 7, in Galati.

The battalion has carried out its mission in Afghanistan from January to July, within the International Security Assistance Force, in Zabul province, under the operational control of the South Regional Command.
