More than 450 Airmen from the Romanian and US Air Forces participate in the third edition of VIPER LANCE 08, a common training exercise focused on air defence and interception missions, which will be held at the 71st Air Base in Campia Turzii, between August 25 and September 5.

Romanian Air Force participates with 200 Airmen and four MIG-21s and logistic facilities while US Air Force participates with 12 F-16s and 252 Airmen from Aviano Air Base, Italy.
