The military from the 30th Maneuver Battalion Dragoslavele deployed in Zabul, Afghanistan were visited Saturday, August 23, by the ISAF commander, General David D. McKiernan.
In the meeting, together with Major Virgil Ovidiu Pop, the Romanian Battalion commander, also participated Colonel Napier, chief of Staff, Regional Command, South the representatives of the Coalition forces that are deployed in Zabul province and the representatives of the military and local civilian authority.
The topics of talks were focused on the freedom move on the main ways of communication in Zabul province, the cooperation between Task Force Zabul and the Afghan Forces of Security and the achievement of the unity of command and control within the operations to be performed.
