The funerals of Second Lieutenant post mortem Alexandrescu Dragos Traian killed in action in Afghanistan will occur Thursday, September 4, at 2 p.m. on the Heroes' Alley, Flamanda Graveyard, Campulung Muscel.
In the military and religious ceremony, alongside his family, relatives and comrades the Ministry's and the General Staff's representatives will participate, too.
The Ministry of Defence expresses the deep regret for this lost and sympathizes with the mourning family.


The President of Romania, at the suggestion of the Ministry of Defence, signed today, September 3, the Decree of granting post mortem the National Order Steaua Romaniei in rank of knight, with signs of war, to Second Lieutenant Alexandrescu Traian Dragos as sign of gratitude and appreciation for his exceptional devotion proved in the mission of patrol in the theatre of operations in Afghanistan.
