Chief of General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin, Ph.D. will have an official visit between September 23 and 25, in Czech Republic, invited by his counterpart, Lieutenant General Vlastimil Picek.
The visit is part of the program of strengthening of the relations between the Romanian and the Czech Armed Forces. The activity aims to find out the most advantageous bilateral relations strengthening on multiple levels and the effective work within NATO and the EU structures.
The visit will consists in talks between the military leaders, the receives by the Czech Minister of Defence, Mrs. Vlasta Parkanova and by the vice-president of the Commission of Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence of the Senate, Mr. Josef Zoser. The Romanian delegation will also visit military units and headquarters in different garrisons and Brno University of Defence.
Thursday, September 25, chief of General Staff will lay a wreath at the Monument of the Romanian Soldiers in Brno.
