Chief of General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin, Ph.D. will participate Wednesday, October 29 in Brussels in the EU Military Committee Reunion at chiefs of Defense level (chiefs of General Staffs) from the European Union member states.
The Reunion's topics will approach the present aspects on the EU led military operations and the evolution of the community military capacity programs.


The EU Military Committee is the highest military body at the EU council level. Comprising the chiefs of Defense from the EU member states, the EU Military Committee meetings are organized twice a year at the chiefs of Defence level; and the rest of the year the meetings are at the national representatives' level. The Military Committee provides suggestions and recommendations for the EU Political and Security Committee for all the military issues.
The President of the EU Military Committee is the French General Henri Bentegeat.
