Chief of General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin, Ph.D. pays an official visit in Germany, between October 30 and 31, invited by his counterpart, Bundeswehr General Inspector, General Wolfgang Schneiderhan.
The two military leaders' official talks at the Federal Ministry of Defense have been focused on the cooperation within NATO, the EU processes of military capacity development under the European Defense Agency coordination and the identification of the new areas of increase of the military bilateral relations.
The Chief of the General Staff presented the elements of the Romanian Armed Forces' transformation and the participation in the international missions of stabilization and reconstruction and the efforts against terrorism.
The program of the visit, among others, includes the visit to the Operational Lead Command and the Parliament in Berlin.
