Minister of Defense, Teodor Melescanu, the State Secretary Corneliu Dobritoiu and the Deputy Chief of General Staff, Major General Ioan Ciupei, Ph.D. participated Tuesday, November 11, in the Truce Day official ceremony marking 90 years since the end of the First World War.
The MoD leaders, during the ceremony held in Parcul Cismigiu, laid a wreath at the Monument of the French military who were killed in action in the First World War. The Anna de Noailles French high school students and the Band of the 30th Guard Regiment Mihai Viteazu had an artistic program under the patronage of the French Embassy in Bucharest.
