A special message was delivered, by the minister of Defense, Teodor Melescanu, to all war veterans decorated with the high Order Mihai Viteazu on the occasion of the Mihai Viteazu Order Day, November 8.
Participants in the ceremony occurred today, November 7, at the MoD HQ were the representatives of the Association of Knights of Mihai Viteazu Order, the president of the National Association of War Veterans, General (ret) Marin Dragnea, State Secretary Corneliu Dobritoiu, State Secretary Georgeta Ionescu, Chief of the General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin, the MoD General Secretary Georgeta Gavrila.
Minister Melescanu addressed his salute and wished all the best to all the veterans wearing this supreme military distinction and appreciated the young people have a lot to learn from the lesson of patriotism and heroism the Mihai ViteazuOrder Knights wrote in our history.


The high Order Mihai Viteazu was established in the dramatic time of 1916 and 17, as a moral impulse, and as an appeal to bravery and heroism.
