State Secretary Dan Tataru went to see the wounded soldiers, at the Military Hosptal

On Monday afternoon, Dan Tataru, State Secretary and Chief of the Department of Parliament Liaison and Public Information called on Carol Davila Military Emergency Hospital to see the Romanian soldiers wounded while in operational theatres.

At present, Private Dumitru Nicolae Paraschiva, injured on January 3, 2009, in Afghanistan and Corporal Daniel Porumb, hurt in an accident in April 14, 2007, in Iraq are receiving medical assistance in this hospital.

Dan Tataru inquired for the Corporal Daniel Porumb's recovery and for the device that makes connection between the patient's central nervous system and the IT one. This device will be acquired from the US through Camarazii charity association.

At the same time State Secretary Dan Tataru was informed of the investigations Private Dumitru Nicolae Paraschiva had undergone and of those to come until his full recovery.

The talks with the Commandant of the Carol Davila Military Hospital, Brigade General, PhD, Ioan Sarbu, touched upon topics related to the medical institution's organizational and administrative problems. One of them is to create a special unit meant to offer social and medical assistance to the military seriously wounded in the operational theatres.
