By the Minister of National Defence Order, starting with January 26, 2009, Major Constantin Spinu is the new Ministry of National Defence's Spokesperson.

Major Spinu took over the specific responsibilities of this position from Andreea Dumitru, the ministry's spokesperson between May 2007 and January 2009.

Major Spinu's military specialty is Artillery and Air Defence Missiles since 1993 and he successively appointed positions as public relations officer within the General Staff and Information and Public Relations Directorate.

Up to this date he used to act as Spokesperson for the Land Forces Staff.
