Related to the event that occurred Wednesday, January 28, at the military unit of Ciorogarla, the MoND spokesperson is entitled to declare the followings:
After the armament inventory, they established the disappearance of some weapons and the fact that no ammunition were stolen.
Immediately after the event, the Minister of the National Defence, Mr. Mihai Stanisoara, ordered the guard and security to be strengthen to all the armament and ammunition military storages and to develop their detailed checks. There were no reports of irregularities occurring after the controls.
The Military Court will continue the investigation at the military unit to establish the real circumstances of this event.
Minister Stanisoara ordered a commission of investigation headed by the commander of the unit to be made at the level of the military unit, for an administrative investigation.
