The Minister of National Defence approved, at the suggestion made by the Chief of General Staff, for an AN 26 type airplane of the Romanian Air Force to perform a humanitarian flight on Bucharest -Bacau -Timisoara -Bucharest route.
A patient from Bacau will be transported to Timisoara for an emergency surgical proceeding at SMURD request, providing the medical team during the flight.
The AN 26 airplane was in combat service-humanitarian intervention and Captain Commander Constantin Filip is heading the crew in this mission.
