The militaries from the 21st Maneuver Battalion from Afghanistan participated Thursday, February 12 in a CIMIC mission in Tarnak Va Jaldak district.
The mission aimed to increase the Afghani population's trust in the Romanian militaries and to offer the support to the local people.
During the mission, Lieutenant Colonel Florin Stan, commander of the Viperele negre (Black Vipers) met the local leaders and assured them of the entire support in achieving an adequate state of security in the region.
The ANSF representatives, the chief of Haji Hashim provincial council, the representatives of the US partners and about 70 local leaders from Zabul province participated in this meeting.
