State Secretary Dan Tataru, chief of Department for Parliament Liaison and Public Information, led the meeting of the MoND Social Problems Central Commission on Wednesday, February 18, 2009.

The main social cases that have been identified at the level of the military structures have been presented to the Commission and they decided to grant to a person hired in the Ministry of National Defence a social allowance for medical analyzes in private medical system.

The members of the Commission decided to suggest the establishment of a new directorate for social problems within the Department for Parliament Liaison and Public Information.

The Commission analyzed the possibility to grant support to the militaries to build / purchase the own private houses.

The decision to promote the action of direction of the 2% from the income tax of the militaries that would desire to contribute to the fond of the Romanian Armed Forces Association of Charity "Camarazii" according to the Law no. 571/2003, was taken during the meeting, too.
