The following Generals were appointed in ranks of command within the central structures based on the suggestions made by the MoND selection commissions and based on the order of the Minister, thus:
- Major General Stefan Oprea deputy chief of General Staff;
- Major General Ion Aurel Stanciu chief of the Air Force Staff;
- Major General Niculae Tabarcia director of General Staff;
- Major General Ion Stefan deputy director of General Staff;
- Brigade General Valeriu Nicut deputy director of General Staff;
- Brigade General Dumitru Seserman chief of Human Resources Management Directorate;
- Brigade General Valentin Petre chief of Logistics Directorate from the General Staff;
- Brigade General Alexandru Rus chief of Strategic Planning Directorate from the General Staff;
- Brigade General Mihai Chirita chief of Forces Operationalization, Generation and Evaluation Directorate from the General Staff.
