The 26th Infantry Battalion Scorpionii Rosii received the missions within the IRAQI SUNSET operations from the 341st Infantry Battalion Rechinii Albi, today, March 3, in military Camp Dracula, Talill.

In this event participated Cristan Voicu, charge of affairs of Romania in Baghdad, Brigade General Catalin Tomescu, national representative of the Romanian Armed Forces in Iraq, Brigade General Nameea Jabbar, deputy commander of the 10th Iraqi Division, Lieutenant Colonel Mark Nelson, deputy commander of the 4th US Cavalry Brigade and the representatives of the Iraqi civilian and military authorities.

Brigade General Catalin Tomescu thanked to the militaries from the 341st Infantry Battalion Rechinii Albi from Topraisar for the professionalism they proved in more than 1200 missions in their area of responsibility and wished success to the militaries from the 26th Infantry Battalion Scorpionii Rosii from Craiova.
