Professor Lieutenant General Teodor Frunzeti, PH.D took Tuesday, March 3, during the ceremony held in the Aula of the National Defence University Carol I the rank of commander (rector) of the University from the Air Flotilla General Professor Florian Rapan, Ph.D.

State Secretary Viorel Oancea, chief of Department for Defence Policy and Planning, Admiral Gheorghe Marin, Ph.D. chief of General Staff, military officials and Defence attaches accredited in Bucharest were the participants in this event.

On this occasion, Lieutenant General Frunzeti affirmed his pleasure to return to the National Dfence University Carol I the institution where he reached the didactical hierarchy, from assistant professor up to rank of professor coordinating the doctor's degree.

General Frunzeti is Doctor in Military and Political Sciences, graduate of different home and foreign institutions, such as the US Army Command and General Staff College, the NATO Defense College Rome, the International Defense Transformation Course, Monterey, California and author of different military books and articles and scientific papers.
