The repatriation ceremony of the Romanian Forces of National Detachment – ROFND XVII- from the theater of operations from Kosovo will occur Thursday, March 12, at the 307th Marines Battalion from Babadag.
The 86 militaries commanded by Major Remus Melinte were part of the Multinational Combat Group West of NATO led KFOR mission in Kosovo. It is the second mission in the theaters of operations, after ROFND XVI, in which the Romanian Navy participated with a structure from the Marines Battalion.
The representatives of the MoND leaders and the local public officials are invited to participate in the ceremony together with the militaries’ relatives.
