The Minister of National Defence approved, at the suggestion made by the chief of the General Staff, for an AN 26 airplane from the Romanian Air Force to have a humanitarian flight today March 20, on Bucharest-Timisoara-Bucharest route, at request made by the Ministry of Public Health.
The airplane will transport two patients suffering from severe burns after a domestic accident and during the transport they will be assisted by a SMURD team.
The AN 26 airplane is in combat service-humanitarian intervention and the mission is performed by a crew commanded by Captain Commander Constantin Filip.
