Chief of General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin, Ph.D. met Monday, March 23, the Army Corps General Abdelaziz Bennani, Inspector General of the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces, in official visit between March 23 and 26, in Romania.
Admiral Marin, during the official talks, presented the Romanian Armed Forces’ expertise gained in the process of transformation and modernization and the Romanian participation in international missions and operations.
The two military leaders approached the bilateral military cooperation and the possibility to increase it.
The same day, Monday, the Moroccan guest met the State Secretary Ionel Aurel Lascu, chief of Department for Armaments.
The schedule of program for the guest also consists of the visit to the National Defence University, the Simulation Training Centre, and the military units as well as the cultural and historical spots.
On Tuesday, March 24, General Bennani will lay a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier in Parcul Carol.
