Seven Romanian fighting ships and two Dutch ships will perform between April 3 and 15, the complex exercises on sea, river and Black Sea seaside within the Romanian-Dutch exercise "Cooperative Lion 09". More than 700 militaries and civilians from the Romanian Navy and from the structures of the Ministry of Administration and Interior and from the Ministry of Environment, 600 Dutch militaries and 20 observers from Albania will participate in this exercise. The aim of this activity is to strengthen the bilateral relations and to train the participants in management of operations of crisis situations consequences.
