Structures subordinated to the 8th Joint Artillery Brigade "Alexandru Ioan Cuza", between March 27 and April 3, performed the firings in Smardan shooting field from Galati. The tactical exercises aimed to training and improving the artillerymen to locate, to select, to determinate and to communicate the targets, and to precisely perform the firings against them; there were the possibility to prove the acknowledges they gained during the training hours in classes and in the training filed.

The activity is part of the running on process of operationalization the 8th Joint Artillery Brigade and the subordinated units and aimed to improve the training of the military staff, soldiers and NCOs, to strengthen them physically for a long stress in order to cope with the more complex reality of the combat environment.
