Major Tiberius Petre (post mortem) killed in action in Afghanistan will be repatriated by a Romanian Air Force military airplane today, April 6, at about 5.45 p.m. on Targu Mures airport.
A military ceremony and the read of the order of the Minister of National Defense on Captain Tiberius Petre's appointment in rank of Major (post mortem) will occur after the airplane's arrival. They will also present the Presidential decree on awarding post mortem "Steaua Romaniei" National Order in rank of Knight with signs of war as sign of gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional devotion Tiberiu Petre proved in mission.
Major Petre's funerals will occur Wednesday, April 8, in Targu Mures.
