Participating in the Day of Distinguished Visitors of "Cooperative Lion 09', the Minister of National Defense, Mihai Stanisoara and the Dutch Minister of Defense, Eimert van Middlekoop, transmitted their condolences to the families of the Romanian and Dutch militaries who were killed in action in the last two days in Afghanistan.
The two officials expressed their regret for the two armed forces' casualties and stressed upon the devotion of the Romanian and the Dutch militaries that performed the mission of security in this country.
The two Ministers stated the Romanian and the Dutch peoples have to pay respect and admiration to the militaries that were killed in Afghanistan for their courage and determination to ensure a democratic environment in this country so that the civilized world could no longer be threaten anymore.
