Major (post mortem) Iuliu Vasile Unguras killed in action in Afghanistan will be repatriated today, April 9, by a military airplane of the Romanian Air Force, at 6 p.m. on Cluj Napoca airport.
A military ceremony and the read of the Order of Minister of National Defense on the appointment in rank of Major (post mortem) of Captain Iuliu Vasile Unguras will occur after the airplane arrival.
The Presidential decree on award of "Steaua Romaniei" National Order (post mortem) in rank of Knight with signs of war as sign of gratitude and appreciation for the devotion Vasile Unguras proved in mission. The funerals will occur Saturday, April 11, at Cimitirul Mare from Dej.
