The militaries from Dej and Focsani garrisons, this week, are participating in the national campaigns of plant with timber and the arrangement of green areas.
More than 50 militaries from the 55th Air Defense Battalion "SOMES" will participate Saturday, April 11, in the campaign of plant with timber, within "LUNA PADURII" (Month of Wood) action. The militaries from Dej together with the personnel from Dej town hall and Department of Woods will plant more than 1,000 saplings in Bungar Woods.
The militaries from Focsani are participating between April 6 and 11, in the plant with timber activities and arrangement of green areas in the military units and at the military monuments from the County (Marasesti Mausoleum, Graveyard of Heroes, and Graveyard of German Heroes).
The activity is developed within "ORASUL TAU, CASA TA" (Your town, your home) initiative of Vrancea County local authorities.
The militaries performing these activities develop and enrich the green areas with essential role for the ecological equilibrium.
