The Minister of National Defense, Mihai Stanisoara, met Monday, April 13, at the MoND HQ his counterpart from the Republic of Angola, General Kundi Paihama in official visit in Romania.
The topics on the two Ministers' agenda were: the evolutions of the security international environment stressing on the state of the African continent and the EU and the UN strategies and the Romanian participation with observers in the UN missions in Africa. The talks between Mihai Stanisoara and General Kundi Paihama were also focused on the military bilateral relations and the possibility to strengthen the cooperation between the two armed forces and the achievement of a legal frame for Romanian-Angolan cooperation.
After the meeting at the MoND HQ, the Angolan military delegation visited the National University of Defense "Carol I" and the College of Crisis Management and Multinational Operations from the National University of Defense. The official guest will also have official talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Commission of Defense, Public Order and National Security from the Chamber of Deputies and at Cotroceni Palace.

The military delegation from the Republic of Angola will visit the Air Force Academy and the Department of Regional Studies for Management of Defense Resources from Brasov and will watch a demonstrative exercise to be performed by the militaries from the 2nd Mountain Battalion from Predeal.
