State Secretary Tataru visited the militaries that were wounded in the theaters of operations

Dan Tataru, State Secretary for Parliament Liaison, Public Information and increase of quality of life of the MoND personnel and Major General Dan Ghica Radu, chief of Land Forces Staff, visited today, April 17, Corporal Viorel Cretu and NCOs Madalin Lungu and Daniel Porumb at the Military Central Hospital "Carol Davila" (SCUMC).
State Secretary Dan Tataru and Major General Dan Ghica Radu talked with the doctors about their health and the conditions in hospital and about their recovery in SCUMC. And they offered the traditional Eastern presents. Corporal Cretu Viorel and NCO Madalin Lungu were today repatriated from the US Landstuhl, Germany by an US Air Force airplane in a good state of health. The two Romanians' transportation was made by the help of General Carter Ham, USAREUR commander.
The militaries will have a program of recovery at the Military Central Hospital.
Sergeant Orban Csaba Atilla is still in hospital in Germany and he is in a stable condition.
The three militaries were wounded on April 7, in a patrol mission on A1 Kandahar-Kabul highway when a Humvee vehicle passed over an improvised explosive device. Initially, the Romanians were transported to Kandahar military hospital and than, they were transported to the US Ramstein hospital. In the same incident, Captain Iuliu Vasile Unguras was killed in action and Corporal Eugen Vargau was slightly wounded.
