The Information and Public Relations Directorate of the Ministry of National Defense, with the support granted by the General Staff will organize the 6th edition of 'The Base Introductive Course for the journalists who transmit from the areas of conflict' between June 22 and 26, 2009.
The Course is structured on two modules – the first, in Cluj-Napoca on June 22, and the second, in Bistrita, on June 23and 26; theoretically and practically they will tackle the issues of the factors of risk in the areas the military operations are developed, the different types of armament, ammunition and anti-personnel mines, the NBC protection and the grant of the first medical aid. The rules of working with the media in campaign environment and the conditions of survival in special events will also be presented to the students.
For an intense and effective training, the number of journalists – reporters, cameramen, photo-reporters – to participate in this edition will be limited to 16.
