More than 200 militaries from the Flotilla Command will take part between May 12 and 15, 2009 in the Artillery firings of river military ships to be developed in the Black Sea sector, around the Midia region.
A monitor, two armored gunboats and four river gunboats were between May 10 and 11 in training march on Braila-Constanta route and will have to perform the firings with the artillery armament on board.
Starting 2007 to protect the Danube Delta biosphere the firing exercises with artillery armament on Romanian Navy river ships board are organized in the maritime area.
The exercises are developed according to the Flotilla Command annual training plan.
