Romanian - Chinese talks at the Ministry of National Defence

The Chinese military delegation led by Lieutenant General Guoling Chen, the commander of Nanjing military region will have a working visit in Romania between May 13 and 16, invited by Major General Catalin Zisu, Ph.D. commander of the Joint Logistic Command.

General Chen was received Wednesday, May 13, by State Secretary for Parliament Liaison, Public Information and increase of quality of life of the personnel, Dan Tataru, who presented to the Chinese guests the concerns on the legislation, the social protection of the personnel in action and in reserve, the post-career assistance for militaries and the support granted to the veterans.

The common interest issues to increase the relations of cooperation between the two armed forces came up during the talks and they shared the solutions in post-career assistance, too.

State Secretary Tataru stressed on the fact that, recently they established a new directorate, in the MoND, in charge with the increase of quality of life of the personnel.

The Chinese delegation will meet Major General Stefan Oprea, Ph.D. deputy chief of General Staff; will visit the National Defence University and the 21st Mountain Battalion from Predeal.

The Chinese guests will visit the personnel's recreation and working capacity remake facilities and will have talks on the possibility the Chinese militaries to use them, at reciprocity, too.
