The troops of the 21st Maneuvre Battalion in Afghanistan conducted a mission of humanitarian assistance in Qalla, Qalat District.

The mission was intended to discuss with Afghan leaders the problems local population is confronted with and to offer humanitarians assistance.

During the mission the Romanian troops offered the population food, blankets, home appliances, radio sets but toys for children as well. The Romanian staff offered medical assistance to all people needing it.

The local leader thanked the Romanian military personnel for their assistance.
