Dan Tataru, State Secretary in the Ministry of National Defence participated in the National Conference of the National Association of Retired and Reserve Military Personnel Alexandru Ioan Cuza, (ANCMRR) on June 2.

In his speech, Mr. Tataru acknowledged the efforts made by the military personnel, now retired or in the reserve, to the transformation and modernization of the military institution and requested their support in this ongoing process.

Dan Tataru said he was aware of the problems this type of personnel was facing and reassured them that the leadership of the ministry is very much concerned with finding the necessary solutions that would lead to their living a decent life.

The conference agenda included an analysis of the last two year’s activity, an account on the amendments and improvements made on the statute of ANCMRR as well as the strategy for the next five years.

The activity was attended by advisers of the Presidential Administrations, public and military officials.
