40 years ago, on August 3, 1969 the Romanian Navy Museum opened the doors for the public after 50 years of hesitating efforts to organize a Navy Museum. It was established in a place full of history itself, a 100 years old patrimony building, the permanent exhibition is a radiography of history of the Romanian Navy, of science and techniques of navigation and a proof of love and devotion of people who choose not an easy life to live, but a charming one, the life of a sailor.
