Chief of the Naval Forces Staff, Rear-Admiral Dorin Danila will participate Sunday, August 9, in the BLACKSEAFOR handing-receiving command ceremony in Varna, Bulgaria.
During the ceremony, Ukraine will hand the BLACKSEAFOR command to Bulgaria that, according to this regional initiative protocol of establishment, will have its command responsibility for a year.
The chiefs of Naval Forces from the Black Sea region are invited to participate in the ceremony together with the crews of the ships that have participated in BLACKSEAFOR August 2009 activity.
The Romanian Naval Forces are represented by "Contraamiral Horia Macellariu" corvette commanded by Captain Commander Liviu Motoc with a crew of 94 militaries.
