The Summer Scouts Camp- Brasov 2009 closing ceremony will occur on Sunday, August 16 at 9.30 a.m. at "Henri Coanda" Air Force Academy.
After a week full of training and recreation activity, sport and military training contests, the 42 pupils, boys and girls, will go home with a sack full of "remembers from the army".
The initiative of the Ministry of National Defense, the Scouts Summer Camp was held this year at "Henri Coanda" Air Force Academy with the support of the Air Force Staff in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and "Manfred Worner" Association.
The Camp, developed under "Be the best!" logo, aimed to transmit to the young people little knowledge about the Romanian Armed Forces, to promote the military career, to develop and set into light the scouts' physical qualities, the spirit of competition and the team spirit.
