The MNTF-W command handing over ceremony occurred Monday, September 14 in Villagio Italia base from Kosovo.
Brigade General Roberto Peretti, at the end of his mandate, handed the MNTF-W command to Brigade General Roberto D'Alessandro during the ceremony held in the presence of KFOR commander, Major General Markus Bentler.
The ROFND XIX commander, Major Cristinel Calinciuc and a platoon from the 1st Parachutists Company commanded by Lieutenant Iulian Rusu have participated in this event, too. The Romanian ROFND XIX Detachment performs their missions under the MNTF-W command.
