An N 30 transport airplane of the Romanian Air Force performed Sunday, September 20, a humanitarian mission to save the life of a woman, 49, in need of a surgery in a clinic in Vienna.
The MoND leaders approved the mission that was requested by the patient and the medical team.
The plane commanded by Captain Commander Eugeniu Georgescu took off at 9 a.m. from the 90th Air Transport Base-Otopeni, and will return at 4, 30 p.m.
