The General Staff organizes according to the Plan of the main activities on 2009, between September 28 and October 3, the National Joint Exercise "ROUEX 09" planned to be performed on three stages.
The exercise will be performed according to NATO standards and proceedings to simultaneously operatively and tactically train the operational leading structures to plan and develop the joint military actions.
"ROUEX 09" with the participation of the General Staff structures up to the Battalion level, will occur in the firing fields on the national territory; and it is based on a fictitious scenario of a campaign that includes the military actions and the use of forces in an "article 5" type collective defense operation of some NATO member states' territory.
The main aims are to affirm the forces that are destined to NATO, being at the end of their operationalization stage on 2009, previously certified, to apply and confirm the operation proceedings, according to the standards and to train the participants in planning and developing such joint operations.
