State Secretary Viorel Oancea met Imre Szekeres, minister of National Defense of the Republic of Hungary

Viorel Oancea, State Secretary for Defense Policy and Planning from the Romanian Ministry of National Defense met today, November 1, Imre Szekeres, minister of National Defense of the Republic of Hungary in visit in Romania.
The two officials had talks on the evolution of the military Romanian - Hungarian relations and had participated in the inauguration of the Monument of the Hungarian Soldiers in the Calvin Graveyard.
"We unveil this monument today together with our Hungarian friends as a symbol of the good relations between our armed forces and we lay wreaths in the memory of the Hungarian soldiers who died on the Romanian territory ... Our countries can offer the forces able to act in the peacekeeping operations to the North Atlantic Alliance, to the European Union and to the United Nations. As the evidence, there are the Joint Romanian-Hungarian Peacekeeping Battalion and the Engineering Multinational Battalion "Tisa". The common missions always strengthened the brotherhood in arms and the durable relationship" stated State Secretary Viorel Oancea at the Monument of the Hungarian Soldiers.
"Today, the Day of all the saints, we have the opportunity to inaugurate the monument of the Hungarian Soldiers killed in actions in wars. We thank to all who promoted the monument, the Government of Romania, the Romanian military institutions and the Military Institute and Museum from Hungary" stated minister Szekeres in the Calvin Graveyard.
Minister Szekeres and State Secretary Oancea in the same day have participated in the unveil of Marian Cozma's memorial plaque at Dinamo Sports Club.
