International Defence Equipment and Technology Exhibition, EXPOMIL, and Seminar ICOMIL 2009 will have their official opening at the ROMEXPO Exhibition Center on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.

The opening ceremony will be attended by representatives of the Defence Ministry leadership as well as other military and civil officials.

From November 11to 14, the 6th edition of EXPOMIL and the International Seminar ICOMIL 2009 will bring together over 105 companies from the 10 participating countries: Austria, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Luxemburg, Great Britain, Poland, Romania, the USA.

It is the goal of EXPOMIL 2009 to identify opportunities and look for cooperation solutions in terms of both production and business thus contributing to the international promotion of the Romanian defence industry. This would also mean its opening to the world market by cooperating with famous companies and producers in the industry in order to reach its desired level of compatibility and interoperability with NATO and EU military forces.
