The returning ceremony of the ANA TRAINING XII Detachment from Afghanistan TO took place on November 26, at the "Vasile LUPU" 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade garrison.

During a six month period, the Detachment has been participating in ISAF-2009 misssion, involved in the process of getting the Afghan National Army (A.N.A.) operational.

ANA TRAINING aims at the training and counceling the A.N.A. officers and petty officers while planning, preparing and carrying out the peace keeping missions and it is organized in mobile training teams where the Romanian soldiers proved their team spirit and their professionalism meets the NATO standards.
