Chief of the General Staff, Admiral PhD Gheorghe Marin, is paying an official visit in Republic of Albania, on December 2 and 3, as invitee of his counterpart, Brigadier General Maksim Malaj.

During the official talks the two military leaders will approach topics such as the modernization of the armed forces as experienced by Romania as a NATO and EU member country, identifying new military bilateral cooperation, participation of the Romanian Armed Forces in international missions and operations.

The schedule of the Romanian delegation also includes viewing a field demo performed by the soldiers from the Commando Regiment.
