The 16th edition of the French-Romanian Armament Cooperation Technical Committee has occurred in Paris, France between December 8 and 11, 2009.
State Secretary Aurel Ionel Lascu headed the MoND delegation to analyze together with the representatives of the French MoD the stage of running on activities within the bilateral cooperation plans on 2009.
During their talks they have identified the possibility to increase the Romanian-French cooperation and they reached to the end of the list of activities on 2010 on: systems of communications and IT, test and evaluation of firing systems, simulators, the soldier of the future, anti-air defense systems, armored carriers, legislation on military acquisitions, scientific research, NBC defense, control of imports and exports.
