The military and religious ceremonies and lays of wreaths will occur in Bucharest and other cities to celebrate the Day of the Union of the Romanian Principalities. The activities to occur on Saturday, January 24, will traditionally be ended by Hora Unirii song; and they are scheduled thus:
Bucharest - A military and religious ceremony and lay of wreaths will occur at the Monument of Alexandru Ioan Cuza in Dealul Patriarhiei, at 9 a.m.
Iasi - A military and religious ceremony, lay of wreaths and military parade will occur at the Monument of Alexandru Ioan Cuza in Piata Unirii at 11 a.m. A similar ceremony will occur at 12,15 a.m. at Cuza's Grave in Trei Ierarhi Church. The soldiers' retreat with torches on Piata Unirii - Bulevardul Stefan cel Mare si Sfant - Piata Palatului Culturii route will start at 5,30 p.m.
Focsani - A play, the "Unification of the Romanian Principalities", the parade of two military detachments from Focsani garrison and the retreat with torches will occur in Piata Teatrului "Maior Gheorghe Pastia" at 4 p.m.
The soldiers from the Romanian Navy structures will take part in the military and religious ceremonies: Mangalia - 9,30 a.m. at Complexul Monumental in Piata Republicii; Braila - 9,50 a.m. in Piata Independentei; Babadag - 10 a.m. at Monumentul Eroilor;
