Two NCOs from Kandahar military base, Afghanistan were wounded during a missile attack on Sunday, January 24, at about 7, 30 p.m. (Romanian time).
The two soldiers Sergiu Hulpoi and Mihai Paduraru were transported to the military hospital in Kandahar base for the medical care. Preliminary tests established their state of health was stable.
Mihai Paduraru was released this morning while Mihai Hulpoi still remained in the hospital, under medical observation.
The staff NCOs were at the beginning of a six month mission in Afghanistan.
The National Defence Minister, Mr. Gabriel Oprea and the chief of General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin are informed permanently on the wounded soldiers' state of health.
