The Romanian Air Force military plane, AN 26 type, accomplished a humanitarian mission by transporting a patient with a heart condition on January 28, 2010.
The patient, in a severe condition, was transferred from Oradea County Hospital to Targu Mures Cardiovascular Center.
The mission was approved by the MoND leaders upon request of SMURD Oradea.
A specialist doctor from SMURD Bucharest and a medical team headed by Captain Doctor Dragos Tudose from the 90th Air Transport Otopeni provided medical assistance during the flight.
The commander of the team in mission was Lieutenant Commander Dabija Laurentiu.
