The soldiers of the 22nd 'Ciresoaia' Mountain Battalion from Sfantu Gheorghe will celebrate their 70th anniversary as follows:
- Friday, January 29, starting 6 p.m. - Retreat with torches on 'Mihai Viteazu' Statue - the 22nd Mountain Battalion HQ route;
- Saturday, January 30, starting 10 a.m. - A military and religious ceremony will occur at the Battalion HQ; the 'Emblem of Honor of the Land Forces' and 'General Leonard Mociulski' trophy will be awarded during the ceremony. They will also present the documentary film 'Drumul de lupta al batalionului in cel de-al doilea razboi mondial' (The Battalion's Battle Life in WWII) and will launch 'Istoria Batalionului 22 Vanatori de Munte 'Ciresoaia' (The History of the 22nd 'Ciresoaia' Mountain Battalion) and at 1, 15 p.m. the soldiers will present 'Lupta in localitate, atacul unui obiectiv' (Guerrila Walfare, Attack on a Target) and 'Ambuscada' (Ambush) demonstrative exercises.

The soldiers of the 22nd Mountain Battalion, the Land Forces' Staff representatives, former commanders of the 22nd Battalion and representatives of local administration and journalists are invited to participate in this event.
